Course Scheduling 2023-24
It is time to begin planning for the 2023-2024 academic year. Our school counselors will be working with parents and students through mid-March to complete course recommendations for the upcoming school year. Parents are encouraged to be a part of this process when possible.

EIHS CORE Students Complete Course in Graphic Design
East Islip High School’s CORE technology skills class, taught by James Connell, recently completed a 10-week program in graphic design, with students designing, creating and printing reusable advertisement posters for the school store.

East Islip Boys Bowlers Remain Undefeated for Season
East Islip High School’s boys bowling team is on a roll, remaining undefeated at 12-0 in League matches, winning all 36 games so far this year, boasting a team average of 213 and leading Suffolk County in multiple areas.

Boys and Girls Track Teams Qualify for Millrose Games
East Islip High School’s boys 4x400-meter relay team of Jack Kalinowski, Matt Mcintee, Joe Norrby and Ryan Parker, and the girls 4x400-meter relay team of Grace Micali, Danielle Simonetti, Olivia Simonetti and Danika Tidridge, both qualified to compete at the prestigious Millrose Games at The Armory in New York City on Feb. 11.

EIHS Chamber Orchestra Performs at Westfield Mall
The East Islip High School Chamber Orchestra continued its tradition of performing holiday music for the community on the evening of Dec. 19.

SADD Club Pays Positive Visit to Middle Schoolers
East Islip High School’s Students Against Destructive Decisions club recently visited Christopher Padgur’s health classes at East Islip Middle School to discuss important issues such as suicide, bullying, gambling, vaping, substance abuse and cyberbullying.
